Got in another 70 taillight (with the large back up lens) and the seller covered it in packing tape. The lens is covered in thick adhesive.

Got in a NOS Maverick emblem for the trunk/spoiler. Not sure I'll even use it but I got it fairly cheap.

Finished the t5 swap and been t5'ing it on the way home from Frank's house. I have a 3.00 gear now and at 2k rpm I'm doing 75 mph. I'm not having any problems pulling the small hills on the interstate in mid-Georgia at this speed. I'm thinking a 3.25 gear might be the magic number and a 3.55 might be too much gear with the bottom end torque from a 250 inline six...only time and more test will tell.

glad to see you got it finished. I was wondering how a stock gear would work, mine has a 279 and I was thinking 325 too...

I'm glad too !! I'm thinking I need to do a tech article on a 250 t5 swap. Everything went smooth with the swap except my custom exhaust got in the way of the crossmember and a custom crossmember had to be built from scratch.

Tacked in my new right rocker section and I see now that the top of the rocker doesn't line up with the bottom of the door. Seems as though the new rocker may be a little different the original one!

I've been prepping my car for paint, going to give it the krylon touch... a lot of prep work for what I'd call a cheap paint job... and with all the disassembly I've been noticing a few things like the door window trim... why do most of the cars I see on here don't have them installed? I'm on the fence about reinstalling mine of cutting off the tabs... the trim is in perfect shape and I have all the plastic tabs still on there... and what should I remove vs. masking off, taillights, side markers, side view mirrors, etc... what to do, what to do...
