Green Hotwheels Sreet Beasts....

Still some crud left in the gas tank, don't want it in my carb.

 

Looks great... I run two fuel filters too, one back at the tank to keep crud out of the pump. One after the pump to keep crud out of the carb...

 

I forgot then, I actually have three, I also have one back close to the tank, need to check it soon an make sure it's clean, thanks for reminding me of that one

I did throw a little white on it, still looking to get some green plug wires....

 

Green and shiny again!

 

Well I couldn't stand it any more, I did a shakedown ride and this time I put it through the ringer! I can see I am going to be spending quite a bit on tires, lets just say if I want to spin the tires, it ain't a problem! brakes still are not great but there is some there, just need more bleeding I guess (hope) some stering well actually turning radius problems and a little tire scrub on the front fenders, I did spot a small oil leak I think is from the dipstick where it enters the timing cover, will look more tomorrow, all in all it was pretty fun, and I can finally use this icon..... just need to be a four speed icon.

 

...found some of my tire closest is the end of the mark, unfortunately one wheel peel, dude I got the car from fibbed to me about it having work done on the rear gear.

 

Sounds like you're having fun, Roger! Nothing like a "one-tire-fire" to get the ol' heart going, eh? BTW, did you respray your car, or just add the picture...

I just resprayed it, still have 3/4 of a gallon left, it's not perfect but I think I can live with it, I guess you would call it a ten footer, it was my first car painting so it's fine with me, some of it turned out great and some of it turned out not so great.

Might as well show ya'll another pic................I am still working on the stripes, as I said my program saw fit to delete the one's I had ready so I had to start all over again,

 

Man, I cannot wait to see this thing with stripes on it!! It is going to look so cool!

Have you figured out what you're going to do with the "Wheels" decal?

 

Thanks Paul it's getting close...
I cut some white reflective one's and stuck them on the center caps, and like the stripes they will glow when hit by any lighting.
