Green Hotwheels Sreet Beasts....

Just read all 20 pages, I thought the thread was about Hot Wheels so I never checked it out. What a cool project, I cant wait until the stripes go on. Looking good Roger!

 

Thanks Don, it's getting there but slowly, got alot of little things yet to do, speaker and amp installation, clean up wiring under dash/console area then a general cleaning of the interior, windows and wheels, finish console install and buy floor mats.

 

Paul Masson, I know you have been waiting along with some others, well today I got brave and started the graphics cutting, got part of one done and the lightning got too bad to do any more so at least it's a start!!
This pic was taken in my living room on the floor (even though you can't see the carpet) with my cell phone and flash was on!

 

Ok here we go, Graphics are going on..........




They look a little misaligned because the hood is open in these pics, I have to recut the side it just didn't fit to my liking but thats no problem, the hard part is done!

Thank you Steven, it's been rough getting to this point, and it keeps getting rougher, went out to close the hood and check the Graphics, I had put fuel in it yesterday and found just a few minutes ago it's developed a leak in the tank, gotta fix that now lol.

Thanks Paul, I was trying to sneak it in on ya!! maybe by this afternoon I can show ya'll some side stripes, gotta hurry, wife comes home tonight and the house is a mess from me living the bachelor life for 3 weeks, gotta clean it, wash clothes, wash dishes and go get food for dinner, but hey I got till about 9 pm.

 

Ok got one side on, this is just a bit different from the HotWheels version, on the HW Grabber the stripe is above the body line, I did not like that so I made a change and put the stripe where it should have been..................


Still got a touch more to do to this one, need to tuck the edges, it is still wet and movable in this pic, I just stuck the Maverick badge there to take the pic.

 

Wheel it outside and get us a full picture!

 

Still not finished yet and it's muddy, stormed pretty bad here at 2 am this morning, I will as soon as it's done and not so muddy, right now had to stop and clean the shop of all the gas that leaked, I was getting HIGH from the fumes
