I hope you mean you bought that truck to tow your maverick around.

I would think thats nuts to spend $19k on a truck then take the motor out and install it in your maverick lol it would be different if you did thats for sure

now that youve got that nice gas saver truck you can break it in by coming back down to california :thumbs2:

Haha yeah its to tow the maverick. I already have a crate 306 ready to drop in to the maverick :) that would be stupid. I'd go coyote route if I had 19k to drop on a engine hah

What kind of trailer do you have to haul the Maverick?
I tow'd my car up to Portland and back about a month ago (1550miles) and averaged over 15mpg with my truck..................get the Maverick finished and tow it down here to see what kind of mpg you get with your new Nissan................plus we could have a mini meet in California!

you can count me and curb hopper in on a mini meet maybe I can convince the yuba city marrysville guys to come out and theres a few other guys around that if there cars are running might come out. then theres a couple of racers that have mavs.:thumbs2:

we can even see if red72grabber is up for a mini meet depends on his back. enough of us get together I doubt he would be able to resist coming out. he might suffer through the next couple of days but hell prolly come out. :biglaugh:

I had a very nice visit from Coop and his wife Kathy today - a mini meet :Handshake

then I had a chance to figure out what I was going to have to do to finish up my left rear quarter panel so out came my spare quarter panel and my cutting wheel :)

Drove over to see Todd, Supermav, and picked up a few parts. Didn't get to stay long unfortunately, we left home a bit late and had another stop to make.

When I get it running, and going -- Sure why not. I'd love to drive down.

I am planning on next year it'll be done.
