look how straight that 1/4 panel is. too bad its so far I wouldve went and tried to save atleast those I the original poster for not giving in to the parts guys and deciding to save a decent car from the crusher just think people the more that get cut up and crushed the fewer there are and the less likely theyll be around in another 40 years. these cars arent like people. there arent new models like the old ones reincarnated every day
Don. I struggle when I start looking at Chevelles. I start thinking I could sell all my Comet stuff and get me a fixer upper Chevelle. BUT, looking at what you ended up with.. I am happy with what I have. Don't take it wrong. Just realizing that I have wayyy less rust on my two Comets. I SHOULD be grateful But I still want a Chevelle..
updated pics. Head is bare steel and might be recently redone. Valve cover has junkyard writing that says 75 Granada.
Got the engine tore down. Looks like a good candidate for a rebuild. It is not the original engine and I cant identify it. I am assuming its the 75 Granada also. Had oneof the silver tags glued to the block behind the flywheel. There is nothing on theblock where my 200 has a vin number stamped. It doesnt really matter, its getting used.
Changing it up Ya'll. Picked up a 71 rolling shell that will be the base for my project. It was basically at the same stage as mine. It even looks just like it minus all the rust and accident damage. Not doing a Grabber Clone, going to do a Sprint instead.
that would be very cool and dont forget the grabber spoiler and comet scoop painted white with the blue sprint stripes
