Anything going on in Phoenix 10/25 to 11/1

I will again be going with my wife to Phoenix next week and spending from the 25th through the 1st there.
No, I'm not going to bring the Maverick..................unless there is someplace to race.

 

Unfortunately there is no place right now in Phoenix to drag race. Speedworld is closed permanently and the former Firebird Raceway, now being called Wildhorse Pass Motorsports Park, is down while they lay down a new concrete launching pad. There may be racing in Tucson at SIR but I don't know their schedule offhand.

I will just miss you. I will be in Phoenix the 22nd through the 24th for business. I would have been great to put a face with the name.

 

What part of town will you be in? This Saturday night, the 26th, I will be at a car show/cruise in with my Maverick and a few other buddies. It is at the K-Mart at 67th Avenue and Bell Road starting around 5pm. Maybe you can make it up there?

 

Sorry, we don't get into Phoenix until the evening of the 24th. Yes, it is nice to put a face with a name.
Last year I met Gene Fiore at the drags and had a good time.

 

I think we are staying at my wife's daughters in Litchfield, but I'm not 100% sure.
If my wife doesn't attend school that day I think I should be able to make it. I'll let you know, thanks for asking.

I will have to pick up my wife at 5:00 just East of the city, not sure what the address for University of Phoenix is, but it's just about 10 minutes East of the Airport..........so I pick her up at 5:00 and then head up to the Kmart...............how long does the show go, just not sure how long it will take to get to West Bell at 6767.

 

The show is typically from 5pm to 9pm and you are about 30 to 40 minutes from there give or take...so you should be good! Plus there are lots of places to eat in the area.

 

I would like to come out but I am going to Vegas to watch the nationals {wish I was racing it }

I'm up for that! We could even meet over here and visit my Maverick if you would like. LOL My car is such a jackstand queen.
