Those factory shocks just look out of place, but it does look very nice, can't wait to see it
with the front wheels and tires.

Finished cleaning this morning, then remove the front spindles..... After checking the fit of the new brake brackets and bearings, I boxed them up along with some cast paint so I can take them to work this week for cleaning, deburring, blasting and painting..... Next I assembled the front hubs/rotors, then greased and installed the bearings..... Then I made some of the patterns for filler panels I am going to make in the rear seat and package tray area.....

Here the spindles are removed and boxed.....

I got the spindles all cleaned up and painted, today I installed the caliper brackets installed on the spindles..... Then I put the spindles on the car and installed the rotor assy, calipers and front wheels..... I also put the front wheels on it..... I decided to reinstall the old 200 6cyl to get it off the floor, plus I was planning on using it while I am finshing up the turbo set-up.....

Here is the spindles cleaned up and painted, with brackets on and entire assemblies on the car.....

Thanks..... I kind of like the color too.....

Not much happened this morning..... I pressure washed the engine, then got the trans out of the corner and pressure washed it..... After that I drained the torque converter and removed the trans pan( I have to change the shift linkage for the Cheetah shifter )..... That's about as far as I got, just had no real ambition today.....

Looks like the blue blended in nicely.

The difference is noticeable in person, I wish it looked as good as it does in the pictures..... I am going to get a little white so I can lighten up the blue a little.....

Today after a little shop organizing I got back to work on it..... I made a trans mounted neutral safety/back up light switch assembly for my C4 and reassembled the trans with the Cheetah shift linkage in place..... You can not use a factory one with a Turbo Action Cheetah shifter, and the neutral safety switch included with the shifter only work in Park or neutral due to originally being designed for GM transmissions..... There is also no facility for the back up lights with the Cheetah shifter.....

Here is the trans ready to go back in the car.....

Here is the switch assembly I made for park/neutral safety and back up lights..... The left micro switch is for park/neutral safety and the right is for back up lights..... The 3 pic's show the linkage in park, then reverse, then neutral to show how the switches work(1st thru 3rd the switches are no engaged).....

    Very impressive work Frank!

I know that it is not easy to get Switching Hysteresis to work correctly, especially with two cam-activated limit switches, with that type of lever and cam setup. Wow.
