    Congratulations, Chris! I agree with the others, that just being there proves that you are one of the "Big Boys". I bet a lot more people are gonna think twice before they think of running against a Maverick in the future!

    I think I speak for everyone on this board when I say, "You're a Winner in our books!". Way to put Mavericks (and maybe Comets too, yeah sure) on the map.

    alright... Just when your about to start celebrating a successful trip...

    The air cleaner stud broke off and got sucked into the motor. Damages are unknown at this point but there is water and oil in the exhaust. Hate to think that I might be out a perfectly good little motor over a 5 cent part.

    So Bryant... That power question may be answered sooner than I expected to. lol

    Wow Chris that sucks, hope there is no major damage but it don't sound too good with water and oil in the exhaust, let us know when you find out.:cry:

    lol, that was what i was thinking when started reading this post.

    man that does suck! im sorry that happend. just dont go lsx. that make your car just like every other car that runs in those races.

    a nice 363 stroker built around 500 hp maybe?

    Shafiroff has a sweet 363 putting out 595hp. That would be perfect.

    I dispise those motors even more than I do LS's. Why did ford have to go and make the thing so freaking big. I've thought about "Fordifying" a 427 LS motor and calling it the motor Ford SHOULD have built.
