Up here, this is a rare sight....

I looked in the window, it's original paint (Stripes are there, but faded), and from Arkansas (from the dealer emblem)...No, I don't need another, I've already told myself this..
I talked to the owner, and he seems to be a car collector, but he has my business card, so you never know....

I have too many cars now, but a Comet GT would be very tempting.

Nice! I have relatives in Cobourg. Maybe it's time to pay them a visit! Is it a 71?

I'm my excitement, I didn't look at the bumpers, but I'd say it's a 74...the owner said it's a 76.....but maybe a 75....it's a floor shift 3 speed, seats are missing (I have some) and it has styled steel wheels, and a smashed wind shield....He needs parts, and I'm the guy...so we'll see.....

Maybe you can make a furnace or air conditioner deal?

If you look close, it looks like the drip rail is the color of the body. Cool...do you have anymore pics of it Dave?

I'm no Comet expert, but didn't I read here that they dropped the GT name one model year and the Comets that used to be a were now called a Sport or something??

I was thinking the color is in the channell. Kinda seems dark on the leading edge on top to me.. I also see 73 and later tail lights. That is also an indicator to me that the rail MAY have the trim.

Yeah Gene...I see what you mean. It's hard to tell for sure with this photo. It's interesting that some of the GT's had the drip rail trim deleted.

The option you would check-off the order sheet would have been "Sport Accent Group". Basically sport mirrors and styled steel wheels.

So.. I'm curious now. What would car like that one go for up there?

Actual market value.. not necessarily what a wheeler dealer would pay for it.
