With or without the loop under oil pan? They'd need to be shorter to take a more direct route from valve to support bracket, which is what some of the posted pictures show...

I have a Mustang hose that has a shorter hard line on the valve end but it turns directly into the LCA support so won't work... Because the LCA mount sets farther away from the engine on a Stang there is more real estate even with a big block to route the lines along side the engine...

Hey Tom, I went to a junkyard this morning to get myself a set of Maverick Power Steering Hose Brackets, and I noticed that there is a "Back PS-Hose Bracket w/clamp" that I don't see you using in your setup.

The picture that Dave posted earlier in this thread looks just like the Factory setup I took my parts from. Here is a closeup of Dave's earlier picture, with notes added:

And here is a picture of the Front and Back PS-Hose Brackets from a Maverick:

And here is a closeup pic of the Maverick PS-Hose Bracket, that connects to the backside of the Shock Tower:

    I hope this helps :)

I'll have to look and see where that is, I don't think my green car had one, but it could have been removed before I got it....Interesting!

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate your looking... What year is this from???

I'm 99% sure my car has never had that rear bracket... Appears it bolts to the LCA support and I can't see that anything has been threaded into that area...

My 72' Grabber did not come with Power Steering from the factory, yet on the back side of that (Lower Control Arm) support area, there are 2 holes on mine: the lower hole is too large for that bolt and has no threads, but the upper hole is stamped so that I can start that bolt with a socket wrench, and thread it in there.

Oh...and I didn't look at the year of the Maverick I took these brackets from, but I think it was 75'-77'. It was from a 302 Maverick.

The back PS-Hose Bracket must have been for minimizing the movement of the hoses hitting the oil pan, etc, when turning the wheels.

Correction: It is the UPPER hole, that the factory bolt will fit into, on my car. And that smaller "Back" bracket should have the circle clamp turned 90 degrees from how I have it pictured above, so the hoses pass through straight.

Here is a pic of the 2 holes on mine:

Well I'll be... My upper hole has threads as well, was still some mud in them(can be seen in the lower hole)... I chipped most of it out with a pick and could almost thread a 5/16" bolt in with my fingers, apparently it's been missing for a loooong time...
