It's been over a year since I've posted so I figured I would post a few vids.

Stock forged piston bottom end, procomp 190cc heads, Parker funnel web intake, howards retro fit roller cam, 67mm precision turbo mounted in the trunk.
The 2 vids on street tires were at a no prep street tire only event. No drag radials or slicks allowed. I'm on pep boys futura super sports. The video of me against the awd truck was a true street event. Ran a 10.48 but red lit. Fastest pass to date is 10.42@128 on 12psi

That thing runs good! What track is that? It almost looks like a back road with the trees so close to the track!

Little river dragway. In central Texas. Oldest sanctioned ihra track in the country. There are pecan orchards all around it.

That is one mean mother trucker, almost convinces me to go EFI and boost.

My phone won't let me post pics for some reason. If you pm me your email I would be happy to send some. And no EFI for me. Homemade blow threw, msd 6-btm with pro billet dizzy. Msd two step and boost leash boost controller. Also built c4 with foward manual VB rev max 4200 stall, Denny's nitrous ready drive shaft, 8.8 with strange 35 spline internals with 3.73. In the process of doing the mustang II swap and adding a trans brake. Shooting for a 9sec pass on a stock bottom end. Oh also it's on e85

Cool....did you have to do anything special to your carb, to race with the E85?

I like how your Mav appears to pickup alot on acceleration, shortly after your launch.

Yea you have to put all of the alcohol parts in it. (Gaskets, accel. pump diaphram, neoprene floats, etc). And the jets are huge compared to what I'm used to with gasoline. I've got 82 in the primary and 92 in the secondary. And the slow 60' is because I'm on a street tire and way low rpm launch. With slicks and a 3800rpm launch it will pull the fronts 6" and run a 1.4x 60'

Whats your rpm through the traps with the 3:73's? How tall are the tires. I have a 3:80 gear and my rev limiter set at 6k with a 26in tire and I run out of gear before the 1000ft.

My rev limiter is at 6800 and with a 26in tire I'm right at 6500 crossing at 130ish. Up the pill in yours. I've had this motor over 8k before by accident and never skipped a beat. Stock fox body bottom end inside a Mexican block. Your car would gain tons of power with a better cam. I'm running a howards retro fit roller. Part no. 222735-12. Works great. But I bet yours is a hell of a sleeper the way it is

I have thought about setting my limiter higher but kinda nervous about cracking the block. My goal with this setup is to get into the 10's on pump gas (e85 is not readily available in my area). As far as the cam, I may change it but I'd like to see what I can do with the stock cam first.

    Love the car!

And with a stock cam.. Dans car would probably run better with a taller 27 inch tire.

I would rather change the gears. Taller tire= more rotating weight. But it's easier to swap tires. The 2 vids with me spinning are on a 29" all season tire on an unprepped track. The video vs the truck I'm on 26" slicks. My car is also gutted with 2 plastic seats and a cage with stock dash. The problem with a stock cam is that the small lift cam is a restriction so you will have more boost pressure to go a certain speed than it would with more cam.
