Update please? I just spent 3 hours going through each page reading, and downloading every picture of the build.

You should have finished the maverick before moving on to the comet Frank. Now we're never going to know how it ends!!!

We're only allowed so much space for photos. He most likely had to delete a bunch to make room for his new project.

I had a problem with my photo bucket account a little while back and all my pictures got deleted..... I repopulated the Comet thread, only took about a week..... After all that I had no ambition to do this one since it had way more.....

    Ok Guys Im back......

Last year I put the car aside . Since that happened I started a new job running an Ice Machine service and rental company, then had to move my workshop ( 2500 sq feet by myself ) , became a trustee for a friend that is sick, took over his closed carlot that he let a hoarder live there for 5 years and ended up loading the place up with trash ( long story ) , became a licensed car dealer and lost my mom at age 79. Im spinning with the massive directional issues Im in the middle of but have my sights on getting back to my Maverick build sometime in the next few months.

Here is the Update: The maverick is sitting on a jig waiting for more floor and firewall trimming so I can build the tube chassis. I have slowly picked up a few parts since my last post. Today I picked up a big one....the fiberglass frontend from Richard Earle at Suncoast Race Cars he built for me. He added a ProMod style front spoiler, added a few inches to the wheelbase and spiced it up with ground effects at the rear of the fender.

I dont think I will get much done this summer so stay tuned and I promise to post when major accomplishments are made.[IMG]

I like that glass front end. Suncoast does nice stuff.

Good to see you back. We really should get together. I, too have just been through some serious distractions, but starting to see my way out of all that.

Nice fiberglass front end - why don't you create a new build thread for you project so we can follow it better (y)

Sweet! I was going to start a ice machine rental company, but I just haven't had the time to sit down and figure it all out, the heating and ac keeps us busy. The front end looks awesome!
