    Bought a 306 roller long block for the mav. reworked e7te heads, flat top pistons and a letter cam from ford racing. It will be done in a week... I can't remember what cam but it's something like 499/512 I was told compression will be right at 10 to 1 ...

    Best part is, 3 year warranty... Cost $1825.

    Edit: cam specs are, Dur 279/289 @.50 Lift is 493/510 Lobe center 112*

    IIRC that sounds like an F303 cam.

    it's a Elgin cam, I believe they make the letter cams for ford racing...

    ordered last of fuel lines
    shortened trans dipstick tube and dipstick.

    put on very nice used deluxe gas cap I got in the mail

    yeah yeah I know not really doing anything but every little thing counts. eventually youll run out of things to do then youll start having to think up more stuff lol

    Front end mocked up completely, started to trim down the 4dr quarter panel for better storage, cleaned the garage. Need to put away my tools and clean up the bench but other than that good productive day.

    Im exhausted and want to take a nap lol

    I did my research on the cam thats going into my 306... It 's a Trick Flow track max stage 1 (499/510) They are ground by Elgin so that's where the odd name came in...

    I run one in my T-Bird, has nice little rump rump and will pull hard past 6000 RPM...
