Fiberglass Hood Question #2537

    I am not sure if you know body work at all. But if you are looking for a perfect, easy way to bond that scoop on that will never fail let me know.

    Bonding the scoop isn't a problem. Been doing this crap for 40 years. It will take some work to get the shapes to match but nothing too drastic. Will also have to cut into the rear stiffener so will have to replace part of that and move it towards the back to clear the rear carb.

    All I ever seem to read about is how bad these fiberglass parts fit but your hood looks like a winner :)

    I'm very happy with it. It may be that going thru Jegs is a deal, not just financially but for quality. Maybe US Body doesn't want to make Jegs mad so they do a little better on them then they do on a man-off-the-street order.

    Don't know, but I'm very happy with the service, price and quality.
