Thanks, me too..... I got mine from Jeg's, and Summit offers one also..... The fuel lines will most likely be braided from front to rear, although there is a possibility of Stainless hard lines..... I guess I will know for sure when they are done.....
They came with the battery box..... I bought the box from Jeg's a couple years ago, since then they must have changed design and or vendor.....
This morning I did some of the rear light wiring..... Damn wiring takes too long..... Here's what's done so far..... and here's what's in process.....
I know what your saying, most of the car is marginal at best..... Body work sucks, there I said it again.....
Today I got the tail light part of the wiring done..... I also put the main battery cable in place and attached in the trunk area..... Last thing I did is get some nut serts installed and mounted my alternator shut down relay..... Here's the completed tail light wiring..... Here is the alt shut down relay and progress on the main battery cable.....
What is the purpose of the alternator shutdown relay? I am guessing I is to stop the alternator from powering the car (and stop the engine from running) after the battery kill switch is thrown. Am I right?
I was thinking more along the lines of shutting down the alt down as the car leaves the line removing the slight drag it puts on the engine while charging - we used to have a toggle switch in the stock cars to cut it out while under green - the driver would switch it on during cautions
