What are your plans for the fuel supply and return lines?

I got mine from Jeg's, and Summit offers one also.....

The fuel lines will most likely be braided from front to rear, although there is a possibility of Stainless hard lines..... I guess I will know for sure when they are done.....

 

Where did you get those latches for the battery box?

 

They came with the battery box..... I bought the box from Jeg's a couple years ago, since then they must have changed design and or vendor.....

This morning I did some of the rear light wiring..... Damn wiring takes too long.....

I like wiring because it is one of the few "clean" parts of the build

 

I do also, I can't wait to get the damn body work done on my car...

 

I know what your saying, most of the car is marginal at best.....

Body work sucks, there I said it again.....

 

Today I got the tail light part of the wiring done..... I also put the main battery cable in place and attached in the trunk area..... Last thing I did is get some nut serts installed and mounted my alternator shut down relay.....

What is the purpose of the alternator shutdown relay? I am guessing I is to stop the alternator from powering the car (and stop the engine from running) after the battery kill switch is thrown. Am I right?

I was thinking more along the lines of shutting down the alt down as the car leaves the line removing the slight drag it puts on the engine while charging - we used to have a toggle switch in the stock cars to cut it out while under green - the driver would switch it on during cautions
