Please...suggestions on where I can move this monstrosity!

I am not drag racing very often, when I do, this is the perfect location. The rest of the time, it is really in the way. I cannot see my fuel gauge, mostly.

Any ideas where I can move it and it would still be functional?

I am sorta leaning toward down under the radio, in front of the shifter.

get a smaller tach or move the tach and keep the shift light on the column

I see what u mean! The only place I can see is where u suggest or the dash; where it might/wud still be in the way. Other than that, Johns suggestion makes sense - if it's in the budget. I have a 3.5 in tach mounted on my column and can see all gauges, but don't have a shift light. The light is small and cud be mounted elsewhere w/o too much problem. Since ur not racing often the light might be removed/moved to another location via a pigtail connector the few times u use it.

The only other place that you could go with it and still see it without taking your eyes off of the road would be to the left as close to the A pillar as you can get and still shut the door - I'm not big on mounting it on the dash towards the center - that is a big blind spot :)

That tach is kind of big, even for the pillar, esp. for a small car like ours. Seeing as it wud create a blind spot wheter on the dash or pillar.

Screw it to the dash pad, I always like it when people do that.

TO the garage or for sale page. Get a smaller one with a shift light. Move the tach down to the right side more and center the shift light.

Holy #$#$ man, you could move that thing outside and mount it on the bumper and it would still be to big!

Move it to just inside of the left head light . Built a bracket off the bumper . You will be able to see it from the back side of the moon

scooper, I have a gauge you may like. Was in my foxbody. Shift light, rpm, oil pressure, and water temp. really nice setup. Wednesday when I get my phone (broke it) ill shoot you a text with it if you're interested. Would be a prefect size and fit nicely anywhere on the dash.

I wanted mine lower and to the right of the dip in the dash. After numerous cardboard template designs I finally came up with this one that a friend fabricated out of aluminum for me. Sitting in the driver's seat I can see it plainly but it doesn't take up a bunch of 'real estate' out front. My black Dash Cap will fit under it as well.
