    HI ALL, can any 1 help me with the what is the standed size measurement between the top ball joint & bottom ball joint,measuring from the top of the knuckle on the top ball joint to the bottom of the knuckle on the bottom ball joint.as my 73 has had a disc brake up grade from an unknown car ,it has positive camber & can't be adjusted out. the measurement it has is 8.81in or 22.4cm. how can I get neg camber? Thanks

    Dont you have an eccentric camber bolt ib your inner mounting bolt of your lower control arm?

    yes and it is at max and there is still positive camber . thats why I think the spindles are wrong ,if they are taller between ball joints it will push camber out.

    ive got aftermarket brakes on mine too, but i just bought a 71 comet gt thats still original, it should arrive tomorrow so if you dont get some help before, i can do a quick measurement when it gets here mate.

    hi mate, sorry to take so long to reply, these are rough measurements but i hope they help: from lower ball joint rivet head to upper bjoint plate is 27.3cm, upper control arm: form inner edge of arm to b joint bolt head centre is 22.5 cm, and lower arm from inner edge to b joint rivet centre is 39.1cm. i hope that sheds a bit of light for you mate.     thanks for that , I'm going to try a set of xc falcon stub axles they are the closest to that size.

    What parts are you chasing mate? Lots of suspension parts are compatible with XR and xt falcons. Other than that there's a lot of good people on this forum willing to help out.:thumbs2:
