HI ALL, can any 1 help me with the what is the standed size measurement between the top ball joint & bottom ball joint, measuring from the top of the knuckle on the top ball joint to the bottom of the knuckle on the bottom ball joint.as my 73 has had a disc brake up grade from an unknown car ,it has positive camber & can't be adjusted out. the measurement it has is 8.81in or 22.4cm. how can I get neg camber? Thanks
yes and it is at max and there is still positive camber . thats why I think the spindles are wrong ,if they are taller between ball joints it will push camber out.
ive got aftermarket brakes on mine too, but i just bought a 71 comet gt thats still original, it should arrive tomorrow so if you dont get some help before, i can do a quick measurement when it gets here mate.
hi mate, sorry to take so long to reply, these are rough measurements but i hope they help: from lower ball joint rivet head to upper bjoint plate is 27.3cm, upper control arm: form inner edge of arm to b joint bolt head centre is 22.5 cm, and lower arm from inner edge to b joint rivet centre is 39.1cm. i hope that sheds a bit of light for you mate. Good luck
Hi mate, there's a pic under the title New addition to the family. I will try to upload more when I can persuade my son to do it.
