1971 302 Grabber on Keystones

 

A 351W-powered 77 with Grabber hood, at the local Drag Strip in the late 80's. I know the owner, and he still has the car. I saw it and was talking to him last summer. This thing was WILD back in the day. I remember racing him in (the passenger's seat) my friends 92 5.0L Mustang and getting our A$$es handed to us!!

Boy I know what year this was when the so called "Gas Shortage" hit the states - 1974 I was stuck in those lines with a 65 Skylark that took high test

Not sure of the strip of moulding and the black paint on the rockers of the 72. Maybe a clone, or may have been added to the GT??
