Sweet! Details on the engine? What's your goal with the car?

If I can ever get back to building the car, the goal is for a street driven, highly modified, show car - my paint fund dwindled to nothing and I lost interest for now - I hope to get back to it by spring

Engine is a 1972 351 Cobra Jet Cleveland - 4 bolt mains - stoked to 393 using a Scat crank and 6 inch Chevy rods - Keith Black forged reverse dome pistons - 4V closed chamber heads - 2.19 intake valves - hydraulic Comp Cam high Energy - Scorpion roller rockers - canton swap oil pan originally built for putting a Cleveland into a Fox Body - Weiand high rise tunnel ram manifold with dual Holley 450 carbs

The reason I asked is I'm looking at building a similar setup in my maverick with a 418 Cleveland I bought.

My 351 Cleveland had filled up with water when it sat outside for a few years without the distributer in place under the hood of the Maverick - I had it originally installed with the shock towers in place using Tubular Automotive swap headers - I had the block media blasted and bored 30 over - then I brought the speed shop the crank and they said that it would take at least 400.00 worth of work to get this reconditioned but a stroker crank cost is about the same - you can see how this all started LOL! - it needed rods so the long rod option came to light and I went with the 6 inch Chevy rods - my original plan was to use my open chamber heads and the compression with the reverse dome pistons was going to be 9 to 1 for pump gas - these heads also needed work and at the same time a set of closed chamber heads came up for sale from a Boss 351 - the best thing about these heads is the combustion chamber is identically matched to the reverse dome pistons - like a mirror image so the combustion will be optimum - the car has certainly morphed into something completely different than first planned
