      Installing a C4 with hooker headers in place is quite a chore. Even when the headers are unbolted, they do not move much. The transmission had to be jacked up on its side to fit between the headers, and rotated up there to line up with the bell housing. Make sure you do not have a pilot bushing in the back of your crankshaft BEFORE this maneuver. Also make sure your TC is fully engaged. Dont forget to put in your block spacer before your correct size and balance flexplate. If your car came to you in one piece, and it is not your first Ford, this info may be redundant.
