Hi I was woundering how much Horsepower you gained by going to Fuel Injection. I am working my Maverick with my Dad and well its both of ours. We put in sub frame conectors and a monte carlo bar in too. we are looking for a fuel injection 302 and we want add a turbo and a cold air intake.
      Thanks.

'Sounds like your on your way to having a good time!

I really don't know how much HP I gained over carbed. In reality, probably none (some even argue that there's more HP with carbed - that's debateable, IMO).

The intent of me going to EFI was to eliminate the need to constantly adjust the jetting of the carb to constant atmosphere changes. I prefer to let the computer control the air/fuel ratio.

Good luck on your and your Dad's Maverick. You can search this site for a lot of good information if you get in a bind with the wiring.
