Shock tower

In November 2016 this happend to my 1972 Maverick. That I the origional owner thaught that this was the end of it.

      I bought my 1972 Maverick new from a local Ford Dealership. And shortly after I bought it I attached racks on the roof to haul lumber and tools. And also I made a 4'x8' camper shell that also attached to the racks. And through the years hauling all that heavy things fatigue the shock tower. And one day it gave way. So I really did not hit anything. Those two bolts you see hold the upper steering control arm. I could not steer the car.

      That is quite a story! Do you have a picture you could post of the Maverick with the 4X8 camper shell mounted?
