Have you ever wondered how the factory workers in the assembly plant knew where to place the hood decal? In this picture, you can see the paper backing on the hood stripe. This placed the hood decal exactly where it needed to be. You can see the paper on the back edge "places" the decal the exact distant needed from the back of the hood. You can see on the paper backing the cut-outs on the sides to line up the stripe between the scoops.
