    I had a 1985 Ford truck with a factory 351 4V engine in it. It featured a Holley built Ford carb.

    Well when I`m wrong ...I admit it. There WAS indeed a 4 barrel 351w made for trucks and vans in the mid. eighties.

    This shows my age.... some of the information on the Hard drive between my ears was uploaded SO LONG ago that it has become obsolete! (late 70`s-early 80`s)

    You are partially right about the 351. What you should have said was that they only made a HI PERFORMANCE 351 was 69.
    In 69 they made 6000 325 hp windsors. Then they started producing the 351 clevland motors and stopped the production of the hp windsor.

    My brother has one of the 69 325hp 351's in his unibody ford truck. It runs "NICE"!! Good Luck on you Winsor build!!!

    I just got the engine the factory breather says "5.8 Liter 4V H.O" Its out of an 85.

    that engine was available from '84-'86, all of which would be the same thing unless the carb has an '85 tag on it. that would be the biggest determining factor

    Are they any good? The guy is gonna start supplying me with ford motors.... Also there is no transmission what came behind these motors??
