I ran across this intake on ebay and thought it was interesting. My question is will I have clearance issues after the carb and air cleaner are installed. Plus do you think this manifold is any good? Anyone ever used one. Car is a 75 2dr with a 351w. Thanks...
What intake are you talking about??? Most(not all) will cause hood clearance issues with a 351.Especially high rise/tall runner intakes.Needs to be close to if not stock 351 height to be kosher...

Gonna have to cut the hood open for clearance for that.FYI... Thats a chineese intake "Pro-comp" stuff seems to be sub-standard.
So im just better of sticking with my first choice I guess. This one. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WND-8023/ No mods needed for this one right?
That should work fine...Just dont put a spacer between the carb/intake or you will run out of room real quick. Get a drop base air cleaner assy as well.
Cheaper and better works for me. I've heard good things about the stealth intake so im going to go with it. Thanks guys.
I am using a Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold intake with a 1" spacer on my 351 and still have about a quarter inch hood clearance..but with the grabber hood! The Air Gap intake would not work without putting a hole in the hood though...
Not sure if it was even made in China but then again it's hard to tell what's not made in China, but if it was I expect it didn't take to long. Many name brand products are produced in China now.
I like the Stealth. Real similar to the original Edelbrock RPM. Got a 351 Stealth on my Fairlane right now that I made into an Stealth Air Gap about 20 years ago by cutting out the webs and welding in a plate on the bottom. Looks cool but it was a giant waste of time. It is only about 2.5 inches taller than a stock height manifold. Cleaver
