I installed a Grant 13.5" Challenger GT steering wheel in my Mav. I used the Grant 3249 installation kit with it. Now every time I turn to the right all my lights and radio shuts off. It is quite annoying and I am not sure what is causing this problem.

13-1/2" is too small for a Maverick, plus it blocks your speedometer view.

Do you have a justification for this? I've been intending to put in a 13 1/2" because I need the knee clearance. Also of note, I don't need the larger wheel size as a help for turning the car, I can already turn my manual steering parked with 2 fingers on the wheel. My arms have never been able to tell the difference between manual and power assisted steering.

Blocking the instrument panel is NOT an issue for me also. :thumbs2:

I'm watching this thread, I was just about to order almost the exact same wheel and adapter.

I believe it messes with the turn signals when you turn it

unplug the horn button and tape off the horn wires and see if this stops it. i think there is supposed to be some clip in the button that needs to be cut to keep it from grounding out. if unplugging it works then read the grant instructions about the horn button.
