I need to replace my ignition switch but cant figure out how to get to it. I read Chiltons instructions, and it simply states to remove the shrouding from the steering column....HOW! Looks like i have to remove the whole steering wheel. Can one of you smart guys explain please. Thanks

IIRC u do have to remove the steering wheel and the key has to be on the "on" position, then theres a pin u have to press that u access behind the horn thingy gizmo.and it should slide right out.let me look for the instructions i got and i'll post a pic asap.

Are you wanting to replace the actual electrical switch, or the tumbler where you put the key in?
