Kenwood kdc 148?

    Looks like for under a hundred dollors i can replace the old mess under my seat with a remote radio, The Kenwood kdc 148, My question is. Will the remote work with the radio under the seat?

    I would guess it depends if the remote is infrared or sonic. Infrared has to be pointed at the radio, sonic or ultrasonic work by radio waves, so they just might work with it under the seat.

    2005 Rx8 with mods... hopefuly some time soon I will have another maverick and have time to work on it!
    The infrared ones will work if you have something to bounce them off of. I do it with my tv/sat remote all the time.
