Hi, been a lurker here for awhile, just recently got decent pictures of my '76 Mav, thought I would share. I'm 18, and have had a passion for classic Fords since I was 13. Acquired a '66 Stang soon after with a 289/3spd, and bought this Maverick for 500 dollars about 10 months ago. Its a 250/C4 with manual discs and powersteering. She's my daily driver for now. Also have an unhealthy interest in classic Datsuns.

Thanks, fellas. Its practically rust free, except for some minor stuff on the driver side quarter panel, which you can see in the pictures. The underside is rock-solid. Not bad for a 500 dollar Mav in great running shape, I think.

When I have alittle more money, I plan on putting the 289 from my Mustang into the Mav, with a Holley intake, tri-y headers and an RV cam. My buddy has a 73 LDO 4dr parts car with V8 mounts and the C4 still in it, also has a nice set of tan buckets that would match my car perfectly. Working up the dough to buy the whole car from him.

I appreciate the compliments guys, but in truth, it photographs much better than it really looks. The interior is abit beat, and someone rigged up a 65/66 Mustang tank (read- not the correct way to install). Still, I really cant complain, some of the kids at school really like my "old Mustang."
