Hi everybody! I am new to the forum and hope to find a lot of good information here. I am a long time Ford guy, but this is my first Maverick. I have had it for a year now and am finally getting to wrench on it. I traded a 1969 Ford Torino GT Fastback for it. The Torino would have needed a full restoration including a new engine and transmission. The Maverick needs a little bit of work, but is basically a drivable vehicle. It is a 1972 and has a 306 with a mild cam, Edelbrock carb & intake, aluminum radiator, B&M Z-Gate shifter, dual exhaust, racing bucket seats and had a fairly decent backyard paint job not too long before I got it. I don't have any pictures yet, but when I do I will post some. Glad to be here!
sounds like placerville maybe pollock pines NICE! cooler summers fresh air lots of trees and space between you and the neighbor
Now that my "honey do's" are done I can spend more time on the Maverick. I can't wait to just go across the street from my house and do some burnouts.
