hi, guys. long time lurker, just thought i would join in the fun. i'm a graphic designer that's been more into motorcycles than cars recently, but have always been interested in "obscure" classic anything with an engine. my first car finally kicked the bucket at around 300,000 miles and i was looking for something fun to replace it. i was originally looking for a 1968-1974 nova (don't hate me for that) to do a turbo lsx build eventually and found a couple maverick's on craigslist...was hooked. it took several months of searching but i now daily drive a bone stock 1970 maverick that desperately needs a manual transmission . the name i chose on here was just the song i was listening to at the time, haha. i'll probably do more reading than posting as i have a tendency to drone on (as above), but i thought i'd do the nice thing and introduce myself instead of peeping in the windows all weird.
thank you. i did a little searching and found your project thread, definitely my favorite build i've seen on here along with the spectre mav, you've got an absolute monster! thanks, everyone for the warm welcome! you've got a great member base on these forums. not quite sure what i'm going to do to my maverick yet, i do have a 5.0 and t5 from the previous owner protected in storage waiting for me to make my mind up, though.
