Went yesterday to the "Rich Chrisitensen Show" at my home track. He is an intersting guy! Nate was awesome to talk to however. I counted 5 Mavericks, including Goose (Kevin) who posts on here. I grabbed a couple of shots.

The blue one had a 460 running 10.20, the yellow was a 351w at 10.90 and I missed the red ones time as well as Gooses car. There was also a white one that I saw make a pass but could not find it for a photo or to chat with the owner. They decided on a 10.10-10.20 field and only the 460 Maverick made it in as a underdog to the top 32. He went out in the first round. A fun show, not sure I would run in it as others have said it is a SLOOOOW process.

p.s. sorry for the picture quality. I grabbed too long and slow of a lens for the event.

there were 4 or 5 mavs out there. i was out there with my boys 82 cutlas, we ran a 9.8 saturday morning, there field was a 10.2 class. however my frend george won the whole thing in his 66 chevelle , he's street raced for 20 years so he knows how to run off a arm drop and thats what counts when you got 32 cars all within thousandths. were not gona run all out agn but my 72 might get preped for pinks pinks, hopefully we can do that in the spring. but it shure was a good show this weekend. say its gona air on thanksgiving.

Sweet! i had alot of fun at pinks....it was slow paced and kinda sucked that my category didnt get picked, but oh well wasn't really expecting to. I ran well so i was happy running a fastest run of i think 12.48 and slow of 12.53.

the reason i say think is because on the final time run off the am drop we were given no times or timeslips.

Overall it was fun and i would do it again, but would not travel for it.

Its nice to see the pictures up, not a bad shot of my rattled canned black and grey beast.

I am at the div 7 finals right now racing for team Infineon in hs, as the track champ, and dipping into sportsman as well. Sadly i dont have my car because i chewed up the engine when i broke a push rod my way out to the track last wednesday. but luckly enough a friend let me borrow his dart again as he did before last years final as i blew my transmission. I guess you can say im cursed when it comes to taking the mav to the finals. The blue and yellow one is racing out here again along with a few others

Well thanks for the great pics!

You bet ! The blue and yellow one is now sporting a MII front end. I have talked with the owner many times. Not really a Maverick owner type like we are here, but a nice car!
