Did any of the Mavs or comets come with rear window defrosters? Mine fogs up something fierce.

Did they come with the blower style or the wire/resistance style like in modern vehicles?

I'd prefer the modern style. That would be awesome. But I have a lead on a blower style.

I also have a complete unit from a 74 Maverick. Includes the wiring harness, heater control switch and faceplate (no broken pins) with rear defroster switch. Tan in color.
PM me for pictures if interested

Just to let you know, they call them defrosters but all they do is blow air on your back window. There is no heating element. They do help somewhat but dont expect a lot.

Nothing like the modern style. You can install that style aftermarket. I had one installed like that on a Ford Festiva I once owned.
