I want to put racing seatbelts in to my car. preferably 4 point? Has anyone attempted this and any one know where a good place to get then would be?
seatbelts Check with your states Highway Patrol as most Racing Seat belts Dont Have the correct aproval for Legal street use........
true racing seat belts are 5 point or 6 point. a 4 point will allow you to "submarine" or go out the bottom of the belt in a head on collision. 4 point wont pass any safty tech inspection for drag racing. also racing harnesses need to have the webbing replaced every 2 years for drag racing and i believe every 4 years for road racing. if you just want them for the look and not because they are required for some racing your doing, i would suggest getting some modern style like these http://www.morrisclassicconcepts.com/seatbelts.html
