Won't start? Backfire..

    Th[​IMG]ere's no There's no numbers on the left side just on the top that says 8867 and on the right that says weber.

    is the carb tight looks almost like a small crack in top gasket between gasket and carb

    air leaking under the carb would explain the rough idle and stalling

    the white smoke could be a problem if its just white like steam your prolly okay but if its white and thick youre in trouble there that would be oil in the cylinder

    It's like steam only does it on start up and smells like gas the oil pressure reads fine dunno if that would change if one oil was in the cylinder?

    i had the exact same symptoms a few days ago. the jb weld i had blocking the egr port on the intake i have fell through. huge exhaust leak. dont know if its the same problem though

    youre ok since its just like steam. you would know if it was oil. it would be a thick white with a horrible smell it would mean a ring collapsed or broke

    Ok after taking it off and getting a closer look it has the number 1407 on the bottom left front..

    Ok after messing with it for a bit I found out there Is a top end rattle... Sounds like it's coming from the carb? the middle of the top of the engine...? Does it around 2k rpm

    Lifter? you can check by pulling the valve covers.

    One of the first things I checked and they seem to be fine and after listening to it more sounds more like metal clanking together but coming from the carb?
