Is anyone running a Comp Cam XE266HR with power brakes? Any issues with not enough vacuum? I'm running a 302 HO with the cam, Edelbrock heads and RPM intake.

    Thanks!

The Maverick booster needs at least 17in.hg to function properly.

[FONT=arial, helvetica]My aftermarket booster requires a minimum of 15 pounds engine vacuum at idle for maximum stopping power. I think my stock 302 puts out 18 pounds.

I ran a Z303 with a Ranger booster and had zero problems. Ditto with a Vic Jr fed by a B303. You shouldn't have any problems.

Not running power brakes but I'm running that cam with Ebrock heads, etc. Have 15-16 in. of vacuum at idle. You'll be fine.

I think that's the cam I run, and it was fine.

Thanks to all! I am looking forward to running the booster again. I miss the extra stopping. Here is a photo of the motor build. Pretty stoked!
