Removing the deluxe door panel emblems ?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    On the back side of the pael, take a knife and carve away at the posts that have been "melted and smooshed". This will allow the emblem to be removed.

    Thank you Craig! What would I do without you . Also with the new ones to install how do I melt them ? To replicate it ? These ones seem like they are aluminum or something , they have a ford part number on the rear

    Melting the plastic may be performed with a good ' Soldering Iron Gun ' .. Just a thought .
