Very close voting on the poll. I don't recall ever seeing a poll being this close.

I hate them. I have unplugged them on every Maverick and old Ford I've owned. Mine is still there, just unplugged.

Like Eric mentioned when someone votes in a thread it gets bumped up, I just commented on it when I saw it pop back up! I went to go check the car and I was happy to see I repaired my mistake(of cutting vs unplugging) a long time ago :D

But I still left it unplugged. Might wire in a different buzzer though, some modern cars have some that aren't as annoying.

I kept it to remind me not to lock the keys in the car but its very annoying when working with the door open. No seat belt buzzer since installing bucket seats. Wish there were a headlight warning. I've left the lights on more than once.

Mine doesn't work, dunno if it has one or not, will look when I get around to checking on a couple issues in the dash...

    (no I didn't vote)

Mavericks had that option? I thought Comets only had cool accessories like that.

    Re-reincarnated thread! :rofl2:

Well, since it is back up...

Mine was sorta stuck on buzz mode, but not loud enough that I could hear it. I noticed my battery was slowly draining, and when I came to the buzzer, I could feel it slightly warm and slightly vibrating.

    YANKED!

I can't even be sure, since mine hasn't even had a battery in it since '98.

I replaced it with a chime from a 90s Mustang many years ago on one, left it on one, and it's unplugged on another. How should I vote? :D
