I posted and waiting for approval. The thing is that I didn't use a real email, I don't like spam and that always worries me. I did write:

Great looking car! I'm working on a 1970 Maverick, plus 3 other cars, and I have to tell you that the Maverick is one of those cars that is not appreciated like a bowtie. Put a Nova next to a Maverick for the same year and you'll see that the Maverick has better lines and is just a better looking car!

Now I may be wrong, but that's my preference on Ford versus Chevy on any of the cars. I think my Galaxy is much better than an Impala. The Torino much nicer than a Monte Carlo and I can go down the line like my Pinto over a Vega. Just like Fords better!

I believe your somewhat like me.....I like all types of cars, but lean toward the "Blue Oval"....other than my Maverick, my wife drives a 2013 Ford Fusion and my daily driver is a Ford F150 STX 4 X 4.....but my son-n-law and I did recently build and sale a sweet 1985 Camaro.....and I recently bought, did some repairs, enjoyed and sold (local swap meet) a Pontiac Fiero....so, put an engine in or on it and I'll take a look at it. Working on picking up - negotiating a 1960 something Cushman Truckster....that should be fun.....if this weather ever breaks I can take the ride toward DC and pick it up. I hate that "groundhog"!

Thanks for all the comments both on this forum and on the Hagerty site which my car/story was told...appreciate it and its (comments/story) just strengthening the Maverick following...this is my second Maverick and (as noted in the story) prior to that was the Maverick's cousin, the Comet. Also (I'll digress a little), last week I had to make a business trip to Oklahoma City. Not thinking but quickly realizing that I had to take (from Ohio) Route I-44 which is the "New" Route 66. Man, the cars (classic) you see on the side of the road, the classic diners, all the cool Route 66 places......I am planning to make that trip and maybe further (past OK) this summer in the Maverick, I just think that would be cool......then again, I may take it in my truck with the car hauler attached....I seen allot of potential buys....just wanted to share that with the group. One other thing about last weeks trip....I hit Columbus, Ohio (route 271 and I 71) exactly at midnight....that trip to my house is usually 2-3 hours.....I pulled in my drive at 5:45 AM.....I never drove through a snow storm that bad......I would have pulled off and slept it out but, truly we could not see the exit ramps to safely pull off......I said it before, but I hate that "Ground Hog".....
