Found that right rear shock had separated from chassis. Replaced bolts and washer. Tried to locate wiring from instrument panel for gas level gauge but unable to determine location. Anyone familiar???

Whew, sounds like a lot of troubleshooting now and fabrication. Now I don't feel so bad doing all this work on my cars LOL

Tried to get valvecover studs after work..did not have any in all of the million stores they have..told me no one uses them anymore? i call bs. so i went to the shop after that, adjusted the B&M shifter..put on alternator/wired it up, got the nitrous hooked up. car is now a "roller" as well..finally got the suspension and steering all in it and bolted up this past weekend.

Thinking i will be getting rid of my leaky master cylinder and replacing it with one from a 1991 ford ranger since they look a lot nicer, everything should work alright if i do that, correct? front disc and big 3 1/2" wide drums on the back i will hopefully switch to disc's soon.

I cut out some rotting floorboards and was about to weld in new ones when I realized I nicked my fuel line...guess I should probably fix that before the floor boards now haha

Moved the car to make room for my '62 unibody pickup. That part of the garage is now dedicated to project vehicles so they have their own room. Had to move my '66 short bed because we pick up the new F150 4x4 Eco Boost Thursday evening and the wife says it will not be sitting outside. The Mav looked happy to have a room mate again.

Took the interior out, fuel cell removed, loaded the car on the trailer and delivered it to the chassis shop for through the floor frame connectors, and Mini Tub .

Got to see an 838 cubic inch engine that had a $90, 000.00 price tag.
