i have seen threads on this subject already but i emailed a few people who started them and got no response ... i am doing a ls turbo swap on my 71 and am running into oil pan issues, i read on one thread a guy used a truck pan which is what i have and it will not clear the steering at all. So my question is do they make drop pitman and idler arms so it will clear or am i going to have to run a gto front sump pan or a aftermarket pan. does anyone know how the guy with the truck pan made his work? does anyone have any suggestions ? i dont want to convert to a mustang 2 suspension and rack yet this is just a budget built

yeah i ave seen all of them but they still have a drop on the back where the tranny partially bolts to. does anyone have any concerns about the stock steering on a 600 hp turbo car at the end of the track or going down the track?

I cut it as high up and as far back as the pickup would allow.
    I also have a RC-107...rack-N-pinion...kit.
