hi guys, I am looking to replace my wiper blades but I am not sure what kind will work. I tried the 16" bosh's but they did not work. Am I going to have to order these special or is this something I can buy at like AutoZone??

    thanks, Jakob

All new wiper blades come with all the necessary installation hardware to fit Mavericks.

You can run 18 inch blades as well with no interference. I do on my 76. Gives me a little more view.

Those Trico's are nice! Can't we just get refills for our stock blades though?

There are refills on ebay. I got a set of these for my Galaxie and they look good, way better than the black! I'll have to get a set for the Maverick.

I don't know if the stock would fit, but I would assume they do...

Are we talking "wiper blades" or "wiper frames"? Wiper blades are made out of rubber and wiper frames are metal or plastic

Wiper blades have become a generic term for the assembly. Good luck walking into a parts store and asking a 18 year kid for wiper frames.
