Hello everyone, I have 245-16" tires all around my car. I would like to go to a taller and wider tire on the rear without having to tub the car. Is their anyone that has a good suggestion for my application? Thanks TonyJ
I have heard that you can go upto a 10.5" tire in the back, and that is pushing it. Would probably require rolling the well lip. I would double check by searching the forums. It has been answered dozens of times. Remember, the taller the tire and smaller the rim allows for wheel sidewall rolling going around corners at higher speed. If you want a taller tire, go with a larger rim and a larger tire to accommodate that wheel. Example, a 17/60R/265
All these sizes have been proven to fit, no guessing http://www.maverickman.com/TireandWheelSizes.html
What color is your Maverick? I saw one on Rt. 301 blowing through White Plains headed towards Waldorf about six/seven months ago... It was black with yellow stripes on top and a rear wing.
I have 28x10.5x15 on the back of my car. I can not go any bigger in any direction. but it looks perfect. fills the wheel well perfectly
