Well my original distributor finally died. What hei distributor would you suggest? The car has few upgrades such as cam, intake, holley 600 carb. I would like to stay $250.00 or below. I have looked at a few mallory ones but would like some input from the members here.

    Thanks
    Matt

Don't put an HEI on it. Put a Pertronics on it. Much better piece and can still look stock and not like you glued a GM part on it.

I get nothing but the Summit site from that link. Post the actual parts links, not the comparison link that's in your computer.

Can't tell much from your links again. One is the Pertronix site the other is the Pertronix on Summit's site. I like the Pertronix stuff, they are good on warranty issues.

I have just gotten new distributors at NAPA and put the Pertronix modules in them since I am usually putting them on something I want to look stock. The billet is nice if you want to spend the money for the bling but not needed IMO.
