can somebody tell me whats the difference between this two taillights i just so pics on the net and started wondering how come some have a red portion on the back up opening and some dont??

I was thinking it was a one year thing, I just couldn't remember which one was the one year. :Handshake...for the memory...
After the 1st year, an additional 2 screw locations were molded into the lens at the reverse lamp location. This forced the red area to be expanded a bit to allow room for the 2 new indentations. Here is a pic.
