Springs!!

    I want to know if a mustang spring compressor will work to remove them from my 73 maverick.? I can rent one from Kragens..

    Never heard of a "Mustang" spring compressor. But if it looks like this, then yes, it will do the job.

    Thanks rthomas yeah they have one that is meant for the mustangs but I didn't know if it will work.. Most the time my question are confusing!

    Yes it was the same, but need a three inch pipe to make it work to remove springs.. Careful how you do this it will bite you!!!

    :hmmm:...I removed about 20-25 springs and only pipe I used was a cheater pipe on the end of my ratchet.

    I didn't use it correctly but it came out ok.
