Looks like at least $2000 worth of AJE parts...How well do they hold up on the street?

Why would you want a 460?

That's exactly what I would expect a seller to say. How tight is tight?

Because I fell in love with how the boss 9 heads look. And I bet they will look even better under the hood of a maverick.

Logistically speaking.. Kasse's Cobra jet heads will fit much better, make more than adequate power, and still leave you enough cash to finish the trans, chassis, and rearend requirements.

Might need bigger brakes too. ;)

PS. I can't see that guy accepting any less than 3,000-4,000 on all those new parts. Then again.. people get hard up for cash as life throws a wicked curveball.. and money talks.

    lol.. even better!

Then we get into the whole.. "if you're going to rebuild and machine a stock bottom end?.. you may as well buy a stroker kit while you're at it!". :p

The boss heads are semi-hemi's.. the super cobra jet's(SCJ) are wedge style. Easier to build compression motors with wedge heads. Valve-train of the wedge stuff is also MUCH cheaper too.

    Kasse's offerings are here.

but.. an extra 200 lb/ft of torque.. or more.. easily trumps that weight gain.

Won't be going around corners any faster.. but I'm guessing it'll make up for it on the straightaways. Plus.. not many stuffing a 385 series motor will care about cornering in the first place. :burnout:

That and I will be producing block splitting hp only a 302 could dream of. I have 15k to work with so I am shooting for 650+ I read an article using the boss 9 heads they produced 834hp on na. Image if I could squeeze a power adder in my budget
