That is cool. Don't see many with both sets on the front.

Do they both blink with the turn signals?

If they are installed per a Factory small-bumper Grabber, they do NOT blink. They are basically an amber/orange fog lamp/driving lamp, but they are so much cooler on a Maverick that we call them "Sportlamps". :dancing:

2791: I love the look of the Sportlamps. When I used to be able to drive my car, I ran with them and the park lights on all the time. Very cool! Looks like your making good progress with your build!

Thanks guys! And they do not blink they are not factory either I got the grille out of a 75 maverick and just wired them in to turn on when the parking lights are on!
It drives really nice and smooth and very happy with it for the first drive! Lot of zip even know it's a 6 cylinder!

They would be even cooler if you wired them in to the blinking lights! :thumbs2:

Me too! I always drove around with my sportlamps on when I was in high school, which dates back to bell bottom pants.

Nothing wrong with a 6. That's how I got started and my Grabber was my most cherished car. You will forever remember those first cars.

Mine is a '73 and has those lamps on the grill but I always thought they were turn signals. Never heard of the term sportlamps or are mine wired wrong?
