Took bumper off to put on another one, had a couple of people tell me the car looks better without one.... have anybody ever had a mav/comet without a front bumper that they fabricated?

Out for a :drive: and the first place I stopped I wasn't even out of my car and somebody was already there taking pictures. Then the last place I stopped there was a lady walking around the car trying to figure out what it was.:rofl2:

I was out of town working today so i got my father to pick my car up from the shop! exhaust is so beautiful and tucked up into the floor! wheel alignment done as well! now im thinking about ordering white face gauges sticker to lighten it up inside a bit..black on black is a bit dark till i get the gt stripes on & maybe the gauges and a little more.

went to the local pull and save and looked over a 70 maverick someone beet me to it for sure. anything worth anything was gone or damaged. bumpers and valances off and bent doors off and hinges gone rear quarters holy and no floor pans left to speak of. the only thing they missed was the original steel lock hole inserts don't know how they missed those the way they looked over the rest.

pm me and i'll give you my address...you don't need them anyways! lol. lucky guy getting that, it's on a wish list for me right now.

Today i tightened all fittings down, installed rad/hoses & filled it up with water/water wetter, tightened the V-belt, put in the new yellow top optima (my red one seems to have called it quits?) going to slowly go over everything again through-out the week till friday when i break in the engine and i hope it all goes well and actually starts.

I removed my seat bar to remove my oil pan and left it out. Then i got so mad at the inability to remove my oil pan i ground clean through my tie rod adjusting sleeves. Oh well. It was worth it as i didnt have a pickle fork with me.

Cleaned the garage after working today. I was in a great mood after all that was accomplished today, especially getting the garage ready so I can start installing my MII kit. Then, when I came out of the dust cloud, I saw our boxer, Comet, outside. It was dark and he looked up as though he thought he saw something! I ducked behind my truck and hid. I grouled and he barked and scratched the ground like a wild bull. I began laughing at him as I began to strutt over to him. Then it happened . I hit the truck tow ball hitch with my shin :yikes::dizzy::cussing::taz::mad::cry:
